I have the same unit that I have used for my wife’s car for summer-winter tire swapping for years, it works great. Haven’t run different winter tires on my taco in three+ years so I can only assume it works on a taco.

Each time I switch back and forth between Summer/winter tire/rim sets I’ve had to have the system reprogrammed on my 2019. (But one of my sets of Sensors May not be OEM... so that may be the issue).

So I have just had my TPMS programmed. It was a headache - tire place had to use 4 different scanners and the problem was not scanning but sending the information to ECU.

I was told, the normal sequence for almost any other car brand is to scan all 4 sensors, hook up the downloading cable, put car in the "accessory" mode and upload TPMS info into the car ECU

What has to be done for Taco is all of the above, except the car has to be physically started before uploading starts!
    All is done and working!

$27.50 with tax.....and I was sooooo happy that I left the guy $20 tip....
