Hey Guys I recently put a lift on my 15' DCSB. 5100s all the way around, fronts are set to 1.75 with the stock coils. In the back I have a 1" block. The suspensions forums have helped me make this decision. Now I want to upgrade the rear AAL, I blame TW!

I am looking to either add a leaf, or progressive AAL and need some recommendations on brands and which route to go.

I rarely take it off road, I want to maintain the on road ride quality as high as possible. Also, my truck currently sits level and I would like it to stay that way. Thoughts?

The progressive is going to offer a smoother ride on the road but it might restrict the amount of load you can comfortably carry. I think the generalization is that progressives operate well over a wider range of applications whereas linear springs need to be catered to a specific application but can operate to a higher degree under those specific conditions.

I would consider this as well. AAL's don't add much in the way of performance, they just increase the rate of your leaf pack and are more for hauling applications.

Gotcha, thanks. Do you guys have any recommendations for new leaf packs? I will need to get a little bit of a lift out of it to level the truck.
