Ok so with all the talk about the stock 2+1 leaf springs breaking and sagging I have a question for you guys. I have 20 thousand miles on mine. They don't look too flat. Question is If I were to install the Icon or the wheelers progressive 3 leaf add a leaf would that prevent my leafs from breaking ? I am thinking of putting on a shell and they tell me its about 180 lbs. and we all know what that would do to the stock springs. Also which of the two is the best , the Icon or wheelers ?

Icon AAL is the only way to go, single spring AAL's are terrible. The Icon AAL will give the user 1.5" inches of lift, but are not necessarily designed to support a bunch of extra weight.
Adding leafs to your pack will help out, but I would recommend using a over load air bag or having a custom pack built to fit your load and driving style.

    This..

OP.. I had the Icon pack to try and fix my sagging leafs, and although it was very smooth and helped at the time.. it didnt support weight at all. I since then, have replaced the entire leaf pack with a new 10 leaf progressive pack.. it rides great on road, yet still holds weight very well.

with adding a shell, having that constant weight, plus whatever else in the bed, i would suggest doing the same.

Yeah thank you all for your replys . It is very helpful and I kinda figured that I would be better off just replacing the leaf pack . I just wanted to confirm my feelings . I appreciate everyone's option .
