Project 08

hi, I'm new to this forum but not new to Toyota's. I have an 08 Tacoma that I let my son use for a couple of years. I bought it new and maintained it well and kept all records.

The last couple of years, my son had it and put about 30 K on it but did some off roading and hit a car. I have it in my shop and have been going through it. So far, I replaced:

Both front bearings
Rotors and brakes front
Both cv axles and seals
Both calipers
Changed all drive line fluids etc.
Started body work.

The body work needed includes front bumper, grill, headlights and a few other minor things. Additionally, the PS pump is whining a little.

I'm trying to decide if I want to sell as is to someone as a project, or finish it and keep, sell etc. I really don't need it because I have a 13 TT FJ. I do like the Taco, but I figured I'd get on the forum and if there was someone looking for a 2nd gen taco to fix up.

I bought it new and changed the oil every 5k with synthetic and did pm regularly. I gave it to my son at 145k or so and now it's at 176k. It has an ARB Bull bumper with an 8k warn. Needs a new install kit and some tweeks. Needs tires etc.

I'm in the DFW area, and if someone was interested in looking at it I might be interested in selling but not sure yet on $$.
