    Its a great price for a great lens! ill post some pics i took with it!

    No fungus, the lens does show some use though..like little scratches on the paint. the front element looks clean. BUT there is a sharp squeek while auto focusing. its only sometimes though. ill post a video of it.

    Thanks for that. THat vocusing noise is internal metal on metal. Nothing that can't be repaired and should be repaired.

    Like I said, it drives me crazy trying to decide on a lens....Do I go short or long....tele or fixed??????... Macro(nikon Micro):rolleyes: This is not bad procrastination It's fun!!

    Which lens?

    I think your watermark/copyright/web address detract the shot and some others. Maybe a little smaller so the first thing people (I) look at is the picture, not the watermark. Just a thought.


    What are your two primary lenses?

    Your shots are always clear and the composition is very nice. Clear I can buy, composition I have to keep learning... I'll keep shooting:)

    the main reason for the big watermark is so people use my photos...whats the point of a tiny watermark you know?

    this was shot with the 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 its no pro lens, but it just goes to show with the right settings you dont need pro glass!!!

    my main lenses are the 14-24mm f2.8G, 50mm f/1.4G, and 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G....

    hopefully the next lens in my collection will be the 85mm f/1.4G or D i would prefer the G but the D would do too.

    Yeah, I thought about my watermark comment when I went back to work and I agree with you. I need to figure out how to do one.

    I just looked at the 85 1.4, on line, and both the D&G are nice. The G is the newer lens and being gilded it has no aperture ring. The only reason I would get a D is to be able to use it on my older cameras. Both really nice and the next time I'm im the photo store I'll have to check it out. I was looking at the 105mm 2.8 Micro last weeeknd. I like that lens a lot. Even though I have a DX camera I am going to buy lens for the FX format because I know I will upgrade bodies.

    :drool: i eventually want to sell my 60mm and get the 105mm macro, such a sweet lens on FX! but i love that 85 1.4 it is a sexy looking piece of glass!
