Sorry. I've had the Nikon EL camera since 1979. It would be like giving up an old friend.

If you like that then my pic of the day may interest you.

I have the 90mm and 50mm lens and as you can see the flash but no bulbs for it. It takes a very clear shot. It has a view finder, no TTL. It also has an external light meter. This is a cool camera.

Just playing is what it's all about. Try setting the camera on Vivid and full saturation. In pics with lots of color it brings out some interesting colors in a shot that software wont bring out.. I like the use of the 90 Degree angle in the last two. Works well with the WA

exactly. RAW is the raw data that the camera acquires from each photo. no in camera editing. thats where lightroom comes in

Since I bought my cameraI have been shooting in .jpg. Don't know why? The camera is set for jpg from the factory. Since 1-1-11 I have been shooting in RAW and learning how it works with Photoshop Elements. Now I'm getting the picture. RAW takes away a lot of the in camera controls unless you want to convert to jpg in camera. RAW is like shooting with my old Nikon, it is the unaltered digital negative. Just like what I used to use in the darkroom. COOL!!! I can go with this!!!

Forgive me for being slow. I'm learning and now that I am using my camera every day I'm learning a lot about my camera, lenses and software. Software may have to change soon.....

Here is something RAW for you. It's a circa 1936 Kodak Six-16. It has a 4 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch negative and had 8 shots per roll. It belonged to my grandfather. It is in great shape and If I can find some film I'm going to shoot with it. I can get film it is hand cut and spooled.
I could make this my pic of the day and stick with the camera theme but I took it last week.
