    Front diffs are a dime a dozen.

    I even tossed a perfectly functioning diff a few months ago, and have seen 1 or 2 come up for free on the forums otherwise they go for about $100-200.

    $250 give or take gets you brand new manual hubs. Or spend less on a used set and rebuild yourself.

    You can use your own spindles so there's a cost savings. Buy new wheel bearings and the correct wheel axle hub and your front end is almost done.

    Source used front drive shaft, $100-200.

    The hard part is finding a specific transfer case, but they come up in part outs and so forth. Wager $500?

    Transmission, you can use your own and just replace the output shaft.

    Driveline shop can chop your rear drive shaft to the appropriate size.

    As for the diff end (passenger), you can modify an ADD setup with a hose clamp to keep it "engaged" or simply source a manual diff tube. I sold mine for what, $150? ADD diff tubes are easy to find so you might just end up modifying one. Most likely will come with the diff you acquire.

    That's pretty much all the parts.

    @Kwikvette

    I'd be willing to pay a fair price(few 100 + parts cost? .. lmk) to source me the best-value kit and drop off in LA ;) . My truck is down there (I'm in the Bay) and I'll be picking up last week of February.

    Oh they're long gone; I even just got rid of 3 OEM CV axles last month :rofl:

    But parts aren't hard come by unless you have an 03-04; those are drive-by-wire.

    But parts do come up often for cheap.

    It's the front spindles that I personally have no experience with as far as pressing bearings in/out.

    @eon_blue came across a legit Yota shop out in so-cal (LA county) if you needed said work done.

    haha yeah I don't need immediately and was interested in outsourcing the hunt for the parts. I'd do the conversion myself since it's plug-and-play with the 99 prerunner + manual hubs.

    You can install the entire front end, take a break and even drive the vehicle for a bit, and install the transfer case, transmission, and drive shafts at a later point.
