Get a locker, it helps more than a crawl box IMO. Even though I've seen many people argue the fact that the box helps more than lockers. It really depends on the situation. A box won't help you in mud, nor will a crawl box help you when you have 2 tires off the ground, or 1.

 

thanx guys yea im gonna do 4.56's and a rear locker first...not sure if im gonna just get a lock rite or go all out for an arb in the rear since its not my dd any more..

That's awful cheap.. Cheap winches worry me. I'm not going all out but I am getting a warn vr1000 with synthetic line



Thanks for the heads up about the tires.. I'll have to think about it but I'd probably buy 2 more and have 4 new tires and 2 spares.

Gotta figure out what to do with my current tires..

ARB's are nice... But 2 ARBS and a compressor + Installating of the wiring and hoses are going to cost you close to $2k. (So nice tho...)

Lockrites will end up being half the price.

lockrite just in the rear with the 4.56's and im gonna get them pre-assembled and just send my cores back ...ill do the install myself....should help keep initial cost down....later on down the road i may lock the front i dont feel like snapping cv's to get over something id rather just pull cable if i have too

 

im not lazy,i dont mind....i been down some tuff shit with no lockers at all an 33's im pretty sure with 35's,gears,rear locker and a new shackle flip ill have some crazy fun

 

yeah keep it quite bro only a few can go..i have 3 deff right now and you cant really have a group over 6-8 or its way crowded....only thing is it takes like 3hrs to run trail im told and its a pretty long drive for you guys south of me for one short trail..but look damn fun...winch and at least 33's are a MUST ,lockers and 35's required to avoid winch..lol

 

Shackle flip... Yes please I can't wait !!!!! No better way to make a limited slip work better then to keep the tires on the ground

 

I'd get with Kevin @ ATO before you drink the kool aid on the fabjunkie ones...

I know from having the opportunity to spend some time with you that you truly care about the parts you install - there are some questionable aspects to that "adjustable" design, all of which have been debated to quite an extent.
I lucked out to get an older unused ATO flip but now Kevin has an even better design - see jandrews build - you may want to take another look at your plans my friend.

 

I have and for the price of a brand new set I couldn't turn it down... I'm gonna play with it get it dialed in and the reinforce it to my likening no worries Ill make it good
