    I did my own grille the same way, but it always chips.

    Every winter it seems to get road salt kicked up and the grille is the first to chip.

    I usually have to sand it down and repaint it every year. I guess the best way is to take it to a shop and bake it.

    That just confirms my suspicion. I'll just buy a new color matched one and sell my old one. It may cost me about $100 more but worth it IMO.

    if your talking about the whole grill surround, its 1 piece and very easy to remove from the truck. as far as separating the grill from the surround, well that depends on your skills.
