I did at one point until takeover this year....I wheeled with a group that had crawlboxes (auto & manual) and saw how much better they performed. Just the control over an obstacle (we were on yellow jacket) was amazing.

Plus on the harder trails like Corum, my engine and trans start to creep up in temperature, to the point I need to chill or bailout. To help that out, low gearing and the upgraded electric fan.

The 4.88 gears are perfect for most trails and the highway, but found some spots where a lower gear would be nice, both up an obstacle as well as going down.

Just found your build thread and read it all! Very nicely done sir:thumbsup: you will love the lower gearing. I run duals with 2.8 and 4.7 in the rear and a manual trans and absolutely love it!

Im definitley seeing one in the future, maybe one with less monkey bars in it.

Really liking the styles guys are designing where its simply tight to the outside of the cab, ties into the frame, into the sliders, and protects the pillars and roof from crushing in. Simple and effective.

I would really look into beefing up the sliders specifically where they mount to the frame then. I was thinking about mounting a cage to them until i tore a slider off my frame on a tree when the ass end tried to come up while it was wedged against a tree and it ripped 90% of the way off. If i had a cage tied to it and rolled it would have sucked.
