What's the wms? Aren't tacomas 63in? I'm guessing maybe some spacers up front.

1st gen rear is ~60" wms
2nd gen rear is ~65" wms

79-85 front axle ~55" wms closer to 56"

A small spacer will be used, but something else will be used to make up the difference.

    Sorry, I meant front. 61 3/4
2 in spacer on each side would get you pretty close. Could of swore I saw TG rears or fronts at 63. TAcoma true width. Anyhoo..glad I subbed. You've got a beast of a truck there and it only looks like its going to get better!

Are you going to be putting some IFS hubs on that axle to gain some width?

Yes along with Brian @ FROR's Tacoma/Tundra brake caliper adapters. Should bring the axle close to the rear within ~1/4" each side.

Updates coming, got a bit de-railed last weekend....

Friend of mine (sold lime green samurai) found this little gem and decided it will be the next SAS project.

    $2500 1986 22r-te = factory turbo.

Oh yeah.....also had to get longer shackles as my measurements were off 1/2" so shackles were so close to hitting the frame. Fixed now.
