Project: Ohana, my 2015 CCLB Toyota Tacoma

My dad retired and gave me his work truck; A 2015 Toyota Tacoma. This one is the 4.0L 6 Cylinder 1GR-FE and I’m turning it into the working man’s dream; something you can show up to the job site with and still look professional but can handle the muddy trails all while making it through the drive-thru. Her name is Ohana ​

 

Before I continue, I can’t change my name from “coma rhino oh three”. So to fill in the context. This was my old truck before upgrading to my 2nd gen. A 2003 Stepside Toyota Tacoma; his name was ‘The Rhino.’

 

Truck looks sweet, that’s exactly the plan I had for my truck work rig/ weekend warrior. How’d you come to the name ohana?

 

The name Ohana comes from the time that my dad gave me this truck as a gift
