I didn't know much about it and felt it had an Alien feel to it. That is until I saw the Space Jockey then I nearly crapped myself and did this.

What is that supposed to mean? You cheap fuck...go see it. Give Ridley Scott your hard earned cash. It's worth every goddamn Chinese backed USD.

I went opening night and sat right dead centre of the theater. Probably 1/4 capacity filled.

    Yes you do.

Also it was opening night on a Thursday at 0020. Movie got out at like 0245. Not too many people wanting to stay up that late on a week night. I had to work at 0800 that morning. It was worth the pain.

I thought it was very good. Typical Ridley style, provoking thought and leaving more questions than answers. This makes a good sci-fi film. A lot of people bitched at the movie but I see that those complaint usually come from people who want shit spelled out for them and/or don't know much backstory and theory behind this saga (hypothesis of directed panspermia, mystery of the space jockeys, the xenomorphs, etc...). It's a very complex and mysterious genre.
