    they make that exact bumper in Aluminum, just have to ask them - and be willing to pay the premium...

    I personally love the look of this bumper. It's purely functional. Not good looking enough to be on a mall crawler, which means it will never end up on the 90% of Tacoma's that are out there. That's the exact reason I will be buying one. I do agree that the winch is mounted a little high though

    I liked it too, but it might be vaporware. I paid a TON of money for this bumper, and they kept pushing it back. I finally just got my money back.

    The guys I dealt with seemed honest, but they'd postpone things with little or no notice. After the 2nd or 3rd delay I got nervous and asked for my refund.

    I was never super sold on the winch line routing, either. It looks OK, but the extra roller in there creates another point of maintenance or failure.

    I ended up with the US Off road winch mount, which I really like, too.

    i just talked to the head design guy today, the next production run of tacoma bumpers wont be until mid december. i had to keep it short i was at work. i am going to call back tomorrow during my lunch and see if there are any more options to the winch routing.
