I replaced my map lights and dome lights with LED. Of course they didn't work properly so I added a resistor to each light.

Now, the map lights function properly. Ignition on, full map light power. Ignition off, full map light power.

The dome light functions properly in the "on" position. If the ignition is on I have full dome light power. IF I turn the dome on with the ignition off then I also have full dome light power.

The dome light does not seem to function properly in the "door" position when the ignition is off. With the ignition off if I open a door then the dome light does NOT come on. If I turn the ignition on then the dome light will turn on at full power. If I have the ignition on and the dome light in "door" position and a door open then the light is on. IF I close the door then the dome light turns off.

In short my dome light does not come on when the door is opened unless the ignition is turned on. That does not seem correct. Any suggestions?

The door switches appear to work properly. Push the door switch with my finger and the ding, ding turns off.

I have not done any testing with the key fob.
