Proper spring rate for a 3rd gen for max flex

    OP did you ever change coil springs?

    Here is one of the T.A. graphics discussed. Flex is a use measurement of available travel. Right now, I have about 1" of front lift from stock, and I get 7.5" total, 4" up, and 3.5" down, on 5100s and Dobinsons shortest length springs, with Durobump front stops.
    Actual flex has to be measured by C.T.I., R.T.I., etc., otherwise it is projection based on multiple factors, like all point out. Whether maxxing flex v. undercarriage clearance is better, or how much down travel to leave for drive style/ride is to each their own choice.
