I just got the TRD performance air filter and am curious if there is a "proper" way to install air filters in a Tacoma. Do you unclamp the the filter box and pull up to replace filters or unclamp the filter box as well as unclamp the connecting air tube to completely seperate the filter box and swap filters. I have a 2013, 4.0. You guys have a prefered method?

Just unclip, pull up and your good.

Thanks for the replay! Thats how I did it and no problems. Seems to be the easiest, most direct way.
