I've lived in my house for 4 years. My first roommate was a co-worker who ended up being my gf after about a month of living with me. That worked well until we broke up and she wanted all my stuff in the house. This was all the stuff that was mine before she moved in, I dunno WTF she was thinking. My second roommate was horrible. It was a friend of a friend. He wouldn't clean up after himself, ate my food (tried to hid the wrappers in the ouside garbage can???), would cook food in and leave a huge mess, let my dogs on the furniture, parked in my parking spot, was late on the rent, was always playing his x-box on my TV, and never left the house. All around probably the worst roommate I could have. My current roommate is great, she cleans everything, is great to hang out with, and takes my dogs for walks. The only thing that would make her better is if she paid me rent (she is only going to be there for a month). I just dont know where to find a good roommate at or where to look?

You dont trust my house? lol Or its location?

Sadly the last roommate I had was a good friend, and now she and I dont speak. She is complaining to everyone who will listen that i kicked her out- which is true- but she doesnt mention that she chose not to pay rent.

I usually choose to room with guys just because it seems like there is less drama.

I lived in a house with three other Male room mates and it it wasn't so bad. The Worst roommate was the guy that owned the house. He was very loud when ever he would come home and would wake people up all the time. We also had to remove his rights to pay bills because he would spend our rent money on other things. once we got that taken care of then it was great. You could leave a wad of cash sitting on a coffee table and know that it would be there 2 weeks later unless someone there was cleaning and then they would find out who whos it was that was a great feeling.

I had another roomate and we got a long really well but like the OP He liked to slam cabinate doors all the time which would stress me the hell out. But its all give and take. I'm sure I wasn't the perfect roommate either Maybe he was pissed because I didn't keep a constant stream of strange to share with him. (Just a guess!!!)

My roommate now is one of my best friends and we get along great he eben has kids and I love his kids. Its his Girl frined that pisses me the hell off. But I'm sure as soon as he get some other lady Nocked up he will get rid of her for the new chick. He already has 4 Baby Momma's whats one more?
