Protect exposed axle hub

    2017 Toyota Tacoma DC TRDOR 4x4
    I'm running aftermarket wheels without end caps since I opted for hub rings instead. The trade off is now the axle hubs are exposed to rust. It looks like the front axle
    has some sort of cover while the rears do not. Wonder why they didn't do the same with the rears? How are you guys protecting it?

    Steel wire brush it then spray it with rustoleum?

    Clean it and paint it, then a dust boot with snapring from the local parts store

    Ome, Sqeak free dakars, arms, skids, sliders.
    Nothing to protect really. Its the end of the axle. Only cosmetic issues whether rust or painted.
