You could do what that one guy did with his 15 and have it fully wrapped with 3m film lol.

I'm sure someone can provide the link

I know it was just a joke. You could vinyl wrapped. It's cheaper and shouldn't scratch unless you hit something really hard, but it will show the scrapes. Not sure there really is anything that will help you out. Maybe a few extra coats of clear and a nice buffer

Tattoos and scars (and self inflicted pinstripes) are evidence that you've lived a little. Embrace them!

It's better than what you have now, which is nothing.

If you want to go out and offload with a $35k truck you just have to accept that if you're going to be driving through brush, over boulders these things come with the territory. If you don't want the scrapes and bumps, stay on the tarmac.

I met a guy a long time ago who bought many of what looked like place mats that you would use at a dining room table. They had magnets on the one side and he cut them to fit the sides of his jeep. They seemed like they worked, but it was a little too much trouble for me.

When I did a little of off-roading, I just lived with the the striping; but I did think he had a great idea. I don't know where you would find them today though. If you could find them, they would probably work.

In all seriousness either buy an old Toyota truck or better yet a Jeep. If you are that worried about pinstripes, small dents, and other damage that isn't the truck to take you the places you want to go. You will spend a fortune on paint correction alone after every weekend outing. Not being nasty, just realistic.

I've been meaning to do this, but haven't made the time.... I wanted to go home depot and buy the cabinet liners that you stick on the "floors" of your cabinets. Seems like fairly thick stuff and is semi-sticky on the back. Comes in nice long rolls that you could cut to your desired dimensions. Prob not too pretty, but could do the job for cheap, and toss when done.

Unless you completely wrap your truck or use a bed liner I'm not sure if any of the other stuff will work. Sheets of any material are just going to get hung up on the branches and ripped of the truck, possibly causing more damage. I hear giving the truck a good wax will remove lots of the surface scratches and maybe one day I'll actually wax mine. Until then I just live with the pinstripes as a badge of honor that I actually enjoy my truck. You run the risk every time you take it off the pavement but thats why a lot of us bought a Tacoma is to go use it and have fun!

    pretty much this

you either go offroad and get pinstripes

or don't go offroad where plants grow

or groom your own trail nice and wide beforehand
