Prototype rear bumper blowout

The Drings are 1/2 inch and support 12k lbs and the metal it is attached with is probably around 1/4 inch and the bumper itself is 1/8 inch thick

 

These are 6$ drings and still support 12k lbs where as the others are 60 for the mounts and about 40 for the shackles, same strength this just helps with the cost and allows me to sell these at this great price

Got @eon_blue 's bumper on he's probably got much better photos, but we came up with a great easy way to make it bolt on using factory bumper brackets.

Just so everyone can see the price, for side protection I'm doing 100$ and lights are 35 extra.

 

@Croth51 does great work! He installed my ditch lights and light bar on my rig and I can't wait for the next project we have lined up for my 3rd gen.

 

Just got back from @Croth51's place and have my new rear bumper installed! Great guy and he does awesome work.

Love the utilitarian look and feel, very stout and can't beat the price! I kind of rushed the paint job lol but I'll be putting another coat on. The D rings look much beefier in person and will hold up great for any future recoveries I'm certain.

Anyone looking for a new bumper, hit him up! I'll be back for sure when the time comes to add tube corner protection

Bumper looks great, and solid. Got pics from the underside once mounted? I like that's it's pretty tucked up with not much of a gap b/n the tailgate and the bumper. Could you add a tow receiver? Also interested in what the side protection would look like. Thanks.

And as for the wrap around design, just need someone local who's willing to give me time and the additional fee for the wraparound, also for the bolt on, if you let me cut and utilize your stock bumper brackets (not intrusive to the bumper at all only the brackets(bumper is fully usuable) there will be no 50$ fee also I can add a tow reciever just have to see how much additional it would be

 

@Croth51 I'm still interested, I'll prolly make my purchase next week. Trying to see if I can save some on shipping. Also, are you still making those cool cb mounts and ditch mounts. Maybe I'll order those too.
