    I’m proud to be an American citizen. I moved here from Australia 8 years ago and have been a citizen for almost 2 years now. I’m glad I was able to become a dual-citizen.

    I'm proud to be an American. My grandparents all immigrated to the United States in the early 1900's. All unskilled workers that lived the American dream. My dad joined the US Navy at 17 years of age and had 4 kids. My 3 siblings are college graduates, I'm not but I've done OK. I've worked my ass off and have reaped the benefits that hard work can bring. I don't think that we should have open borders, that is just insane. That said, I'm proud that we are a country of immigrants, where hard work still pays off. If you want be here, work hard and contribute. If you don't want to be here, immigrant or not, GTFO.

    If everybody was this patriotic all year around.... I have family from California come in a few times a year and they say that SOUTH CAROLINA flys the most American and state flags out of any state they go to. We are proud of our Stars and Stripes and palmetto tree and crescent moon. @MKW we are also proud of scducks:rofl:

    My grandfather joined the US navy when his island was liberated. That’s how he got his citizenship and citizenship for his Japanese wife. I followed in his footsteps.
