Yeah you might want to check that map again - St. John's and all major towns and cities are further south than the 49th Parallel. Everything west of the Great Lakes is further north than we are. Don't believe the weather maps on your local news - they skew the map so we all fit in, but NL gets squished up north. And average winter temp in St. John's is +1C.
Not tryin' to be pissy, just clearing the air. Which must be rather smoky and heady where you come from... at least that's what we all think down here. :rasta:
But we are the Far East. And would that make Toronto the Middle East...?

2 will work. South Canada and Way Great White North Canada.
100 miles north of the border will be the cut off.
99% of Canadians live within the 100 mile distance correct?

Just to be fair go ahead and count Alaska too

Just funnin guys, I would never mess with the folks that invented the greatest sport ever ( not Curling ) HOCKEY.

the only reason why 99% of canadians live that close to the border is because of vancouver, calgary, winnipeg, the gta and the rest of southern ontario and quebec.

Maybe not single out every province but by geographical area?
    Example
    Maritimes (NB, NS, PE, NF)
Central (ON, QC, maybe even add MB to that)
West (BC, AB, SK and MB if not added in central)

I haven't noticed anyone from the territories on here, if there are any they can be added to west or central??

You would never hear the end of it, if you included Manitoba in the "central" provinces.

we're few and far between in the maritimes/ atlantic provinces. i think the west, central and eastern would make the most sense.
