I finally painted my sliders today. I'm going to try and make some gussets tomorrow with some steal I found laying around. The plates are really small and I probably have room for a 1" gusset. Is that even good enough?

I'm interested in trying to do something like this to mine. Originally they were bolt-on, but I want them welded. I am gonna talk to my co-worker tomorrow to see if he has any input and can help create some plates or something for them.
