Ok cool... we will find a camp ground that has running water. The one that is available at lake mendo doesnt even have that. are you guys dead set on being at the lake or are you cool with anywhere as long as we get to go wheeling the next day and drink beer around a camp fire?

Hey Im going to get ahold of Lake Pillsbury and see if they have the showers open and how many spots are available up there. This would be a good place cause of the lake right there and then we can head striaght up to Hull Mtn from there if everyone is good with this. Pillsbury is a pretty good lake and there is a little store right there as well. I will Try to call This Friday and find out then post up whats available.

Galen, I've camped at sunset before, it was the perfect base. With the lake right there, and hull right behind.
Heres the link to all pillsbury camp grounds.

I think it was first come first served. So no booking. and forget about a holiday weekend, ie memorial weekend, you have to be quick to get a spot.

Keep us updated. I appreciate the help. Once we have the new place nailed down I will update the first post.

I specifically choose a non-holiday because of this. but a place where we can make reservations would be best.

OK, well from experience, any normal weekend is easy to just roll up on a friday night and choose a spot at pillsbury.

One thing to note is May and June are the best months for Pillsbury, as they start letting water out after that, and the lake drops pretty qucikly.

Im not sure if any website but quatrokiwi had a link and have not checked it out. I have been up there but not camping though and its not bad. They have some cabins and a boat ramp there. Once I get a hold of them I will find out how many we can have there and if they have a site where everyone can look at it. If there is any thing you want me to ask them just let me know.
