Hi, I have a 2017 tacoma and I just noticed my PS window will open/close by pressing the button in the PS door but will NOT do anything when operating from the DS button.

All the other windows work, just not the PS window when operating from DS buttons. Any ideas?

DS switch for PS bad or possibly a wire came loose where connected. I'd check there first.

Is the DS switch fairy easy to remove? Any links or explanation would be appreciated.
    Thanks for the replies

The whole assembly (gray part holding all the controls, not the switch itself) just pops right out. You can use a trim panel removal tool to make easy work of it. From there, I'm not exactly sure. But you could at least check the connections.

Check the fuse for the Passenger's window. Check as in verify with DMM. Not just "visually".

Thanks for the replies. I got it figured out. Just did a reset from videos I saw posted on another thread/YouTube. Just went to each window and held the button down for 4 seconds for the window to open then 4seconds to close. Did that to all of them. To be honest I thought it was a ruse at first but it worked. Thanks again

I remember something about having battery disconnected messes with windows also. You have to reset the limit switch. At least on 4runner we had was like this

I recently changed my battery so that would make sense.

Also seems hit or miss. I've disconnected my battery multiple times and I've never had anything stop working after reconnecting.

I've never heard of this reset for the windows before it's good to know, glad you got them working.
