PS3 Troubleshoot Help

    So I decided to move the my PS3 for a few days to my parents tv while they awaited their BD player. Everything worked fine, HD was superb. I have since brought it back to my tv and this is where the problem lies. The PS3 main screen where the different options/settings are will not show up on my tv. If I ghost through the buttons I know that L,L,D,X will start a game for me. Once I do that the game plays normally. Any ideas how I can get the main menu to appear on my tv again?

    My tv - 32" Philips 720p hooked up via HDMI

    Other tv - 52" Samsung 1080 hooked up via HDMI

    I don't see why that should have changed anything.
