    I know it is the way it goes but it kinda pisses me off I paid double what they want for the slim and I got a smaller hard drive. But, mine does play ps2 games so I can still play my god or war games.

    Oh well that is what I get for being an early adopter

    The new "slim" PS3 is pretty cool, but I wish it still had the same looks as the older PS3s. I like the casing of them. The new PS3s look kind of cheap.

    i remember when the PS2 came out...i had to have one. i paid $350 for it after tracking one down. seemed like a ton of $$ at the time...lol

    i was going to upgrade the HD on my 80gig with a 250gig, but after it's recent failure & repair...

    too bad you couldn't...was an interesting group of players. one of the guys on my team claimed to have 100k kills and was not happy with a guy on the other team at all. he was convinced the guy was "glitching". i don't know much about it, but i have seen the COD "ninjas" before. the guy on my team would not shut up about it lol he was literally screaming about it. every once in a while i run across a player whos character looks like it is "strobing" like a strobe light when they are moving. i don't know if this means they are cheating or not, but they seem to be hard to kill. i had to mute the fellow who was bitching...it was funny for the first two matches, but got old quick.

    good news last night is that my PS3 is repaired and fully functioning again.
    props to PSR for a cheaper and faster than SONY fix.

    BTW chadmb2003...XBOX controllers suck.

    I hadn't played WAW since March and have been getting my ass handed to me the last two days. It's kinda embarrassing being level 65 and getting beat so bad.

    What is the "PSR" my PS3 recently died. Sony said it overheated after I used it for 5 min watching a movie. Just curious what other options there are for repair in case it happens again.

    electronics repair located in PA. they had mine done and returned to me in 4 business days. they charge a flat rate like sony does but $40 less.

    I just got mine back today! I can't wait to get home and shoot all you bastards in WAW! (Dilsky..Add me) It took a total of about a week for me to call it in, get a box air-mailed to me, mail it back fix it and recieve it again. Cost you a pretty penny to get it fixed which sucks since I might have been tampted to just get a brand new one, But i have the reverse compatibility 60GB HD so I went ahead and got it fixed!
