Do yourself a favour and play The Last of Us before you sell your PS4

 

Ok.

Like I said I don't think I'll sell it just because it'd be hard to handle the loss of cash. I pre ordered both and had both on release day. Plus if the wife gets into her Lego games again the PS4 can carry those duties

 

Dont get me wrong, i owned all xbox till this console when i switched to ps4. Halo was great till reach, gears 1 was fun but didnt like 2. And now elder scrolls is available on both systems unlike before so its a tossup with that. The last forza i played was 2, and i disliked the pve mechanics (where you could never catch up once passed, also hour long races). I know they changed it up but not enough for me to buy a console for that game alone.

I wouldnt say there was anything specific that drew me to the ps4 other than microsoft left me with a bad taste from the 360 (i went through 10 or so of those) so i jumped sides.

Bloodborne is an excellent ps4 exclusive, and ill continue to play it as long as i own my ps4. If you ever get the chance to try it i suggest doing so. Amazing graphics, unique gameplay (although somewhat repetitive, but everything in the game takes its own unique strategy that it isnt just hack and slash) and its actually difficult.

Exaclty how i feel too. Hence buying more single player games rather than competitive online ones that need played daily.

The Last Guardian is the only thing there that stands out to me on that list. To be honest only niche games or internally produced games are exclusives anymore. You just don't find the high end titles like Final Fantasy, MGS, or Elder Scrolls locked up anymore.

 

So i ended up winning a bid on a Xbox one with Kinect the other day from that Verizon smart rewards and used my points and paid $124.75 for it and i should have it within a week. I've owned a Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3 & now i have got this so cheap i figured I'd try it out and see how i like it or should i sell it and get a PS4? I knew I got it for so cheap i can defiantly make money on it for a PS4 but still don't know what to do lol!

Any opinions?

 

Are you high on any of the PS4 exclusives? Do you like the Xbox controller? If you don't care for the exclusives coming out and you like the controller keep it and give it a shot. If you are desperate to play the exclusives or hate the controller then sell it for what you really want.

Honestly the performance and hardware on the two machines is so close only people playing with their faces jammed 2 feet away from a 10 foot 4K screen can notice. This gen is basically two boxes with the same guts lol.

 

I played the first two. Tomb Raider was much better IMHO. Uncharted isn't a great series to me, totally my opinion of course.

true. which im glad they are branching out more like that. it gives everyone options and helps both consoles. it still comes down to the few exclusives and what your friends are playing though when deciding between the two. i think the ps4 is getting a lot more content with the games though this generation.

the only uncharted i played was the vita version, and i did not like that game at all. id be willing to bet because of it being on vita, but overall it wasnt interesting in the least bit.

maybe you missed it earlier, but are you getting the season pass for fallout?

 

if you want a ps4 try to sell it, but if you dont care which console then id give it a try.

 

IMHO the Xbox controller has always been a better FPS controller than whatever PS is offering. That being said the PS4 controller is light years ahead of what the PS3 controller was and has some great merits of it's own.

I really need to blow some cash on the new Xbox controller though. The factory custom controller could be a game changer for even an average single player gamer. Being able to adjust all of your sensitivity and triggers individually is a nice feature I used on my computer gaming fairly often.

 

PS4 is paying the money right now to have more exclusive content. Who knows how that will turn out if Sony keeps losing money. I think Battlefront is getting MS support though, and that's the game I care about right now as far as release of content is concerned.

They're both good consoles very un noticable deatils in game graphic comparisons I switched from Xbox to PS once the PS4 came out I bought it in may 2014 and it has been great I dont regret buying it and I don't plan to get an xbox any time soon because really I hardly have time to game I'm a casule gamer not a hardcore gamer that bashes the other console or what other people play I only play Fifa COD Battlefield and occasionally other AAA games like Batman Arkham series Last of Us GTA etc.

xbox then pushed me to PC gaming which is years ahead of the consoles and has so much more to offer for DLC and mods and the pc world is amazing for what people do for the games they like. But halo has brought me back to the xbox since its basically almost became a tattoo one time or another since im a diehard. I like having both but owning 2 consoles didnt make sense.

 

I'm a PC gamer tho for sure. Only reason i got the xbox is for that price and i know i can sell it and make money on it!!!

 

Well FML. Yes. Last time I bought a pass like that was BF and it was a total rip at almost double that price just for some maps I never played.
