The Xbox 360 controller made the PS3 controller look like a cheap plastic toy which was what it really was between the 360 and One controller I still like the 360 the best comtroller they've made you would of thought Microsoft would of moved on from batteries but no

I like PC gaming, but I don't get too much into it because of all the hardcore modding, hacking, and other shit that goes on way more online with PC games. If you aren't running the best hardware, which costs +1K a year, and the best peripherals forget about winning any online matches too.

And playstation still can't make triggers that you don't slip off of in FPS games :annoyed:

At least these ones are better for grip and movement than the PS3 triggers were.

the ps4 controller is light years ahead of xbox. its so lightweight and great fitting (it does take a little to get used to though)
this is why i dont get into pc. that and in order to be any kind of mobile you have to have a laptop so your typically looking into alienware which runs 4x the cost of a console

Bethesda is about the best company for value for what it charges. Bioware used to be awesome for that too until EA raped the shit out of them :(. ME3 and Star Wars The Old Republic are about two of the worst highly anticipated games I've ever played and they cost a pretty penny to get into too.

ya my pc gaming is most games except shooters, thats for console since most people cheat those. But like Elder scrolls online, Heroes of the storm, diablo3 and other games that are RTS and what not. I build the PCs myself so i usually only have to do a update every 4 years for about 600-800

That's your opinion. Other than the pretty lights and laptop track pad they are pretty close. This is coming from someone who has played a few games on both. I still prefer Xbox but the difference is closer this gen than last gen. Honestly I prefer AA batts in my controller :anonymous:. It's nice to be able to slap in a new battery and go rather than panic if you controller dies and the cord is AWOL. It's all personal preference.

I build too, and I spent way more than that only to learn that without learning to hack and buying $500 of mouse and keyboard I was never going to win at BF4. I dominated BF4 on console.

what? how is going to find batteries easier than just plugging in the cord or finding the cord? i personally leave mine in the console anyways, and even if not its a micro usb, which i personally have multiple of since i have an android. ill take a lighter controller anyday. most gamers tend to have more than 1 controller as well so still dont see the need for keeping a battery pack.

i also can play ps4 on my phone :p

Because I don't go to find them, they are waiting in a battery holder right beside me. It's literally like having a gun clip. Snap out the old empty ones, snap in the new fresh ones. Done. No fishing around for the cord, sitting to freaking close to my TV because of the cord, or accidentally jamming the thing in the wrong way and potentially ruining the controller side of the connection (happened to me once on the PS3). The PS4 and Xbox charge cord just happens to charge almost everything else in my house so it goes missing a lot in my place.

Switch to using Lithium AA and the weight difference disappears. When I was playing 4 hours of COD a day 5 years ago I could make my batteries last almost a month if I bought the Lithiums.

    Again, it's all personal preference.

and as such its an added cost that people should consider when comparing controllers.

If you can't afford a pack of $10 Lithiums a month, you shouldn't be gaming. Honestly, at that point, why are you spending your money on a system anyways. The charge option and bluetooth connection are definitely pluses, but to me the trigger setup and response on the Xbox and AA based system works better. Maybe to you it looks totally stupid and financially irresponsible. To each there own.

I was trying to keep away from the rah rah my system talk on here. Honestly, it's the only thing that rivals Tacoma Fanboyism lol.

what does that have to do with anything? its an additional cost over multiple years of a console that one wont have to deal with on a ps4. in a years time someone could buy two new release games or pay for two years online subscriptions. its a huge expense over the life of the console, to the point where you would spend more on batteries than the console itself.

and i actually was trying to keep information out there comparing the two systems so people could decide between the two

Yeah I will, but I haven't yet. I just blew my load on Fallout 4, a Black Ops 3 1TB PS4 Bundle, and a 60" Samsung 4k TV (JU6500)... I have been saving my pennies for the Fallout 4 release, and holy shit it all just happened. My wallet hurts. That being said I am currently still rocking the 29" Westinghouse TV that I bought 7 years ago my freshman year of college. I have been very much due for a TV upgrade and have been waiting for right time.

Because each system costs well over $400 with tax up here, then each game is at least $40 on average (more if brand new), each controller is $70, each DLC is $20, and either subscription service is another $80ish per year.... My point is that if you can afford the investment of owning the box and signing up for extra content you can probably afford the batteries. In my budget the $100 I maybe spend in batteries a year is pretty small and, if I was counting pennies that hard, I would either just buy a $20 battery pack or not own either at all because really that saves the most money. I would just play PC which is a cost most people carry anyways.

Again, this is just my preference. If you disagree, yell at the wall or something :D. My point is perfectly valid that it's quicker and easier for some people to slap in batteries like a clip than fish around for a cord that keeps you in a 6 foot radius to your supersized TV.

The last thing I'd guess most people think is "Jee wilikers, I better buy the PS4 so I can save so much battery money." :p. It's more like "I love the PS4 so much and, hey XBox players, my controller is better so go hop on a dildo and ride it while you play Halo."

I managed to snag a 42" LG 4K last year for $500 CAD . Futureshop had someone return a door crasher at like 5 pm and I was waiting in line to double check my gift card balance right behind the guy. SOLD!

nice. im still rocking my 32" 720p insignia from freshman year of college as well  tv is 6 years old now.

do you actually plan on playing on the 60"? i personally cant play on large screens, so much more to look across rather than a small screen. i want to get like a 30" 1080p monitor actually to use but thatll be down the line.
i could afford batteries but doesnt mean i want to spend $120 a year just to keep my controller working either. i had a 360 and hated how heavy it was. microsoft is behind in the controller department and thats ok

    ps4 subscription is only $60..

and you dont have to be 6ft within the box, you can plug the controller into any usb adapter for a wall and still play while charging. or have two controllers which would still be far more efficient that swapping battery packs out. or buy a 12ft cord off Amazon and dont have that worry either.
this finally explains it :canada: :poking:
