Just finished The Last of Us again. Agree with Britt, best game, ever. The story, quality of writing and acting, game design and presentation, and gameplay are just top-notch. Thinking about getting the Uncharted remasters now just to give Naughty Dog more of my money.

Britt and I may be a little biased since we both have daughters and can relate to the characters. Plus I am from Austin, where the story starts. But even without those connections it would be a great game to experience.

I am just pissed that the new Tomb Raider won't be available on PS4 until late next year. Craving another adventure game, and the new Assassin's Creed just isn't doing it for me. And I could never get into Fallout, so I hesitate to drop more money there.

I am yet to play the Last of Us, but I cannot wait! I have heard such amazing things about it.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you on The Last of US.

I doubt I'll buy anything else until The Division. I'm sure Fallout is a great game (a lot of people are playing it). I'm still stuck in the Destiny universe since they are adding new things at a much more regular pace now. It seems as if they have finally hit their stride with the game so I still enjoy logging in and running with our raid team. I just can't do single player games. I'm too much of a social person to play by myself.

As I've said in the past. It's worth buying a PS4 just for that game alone. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Funny you say that - that's the reason I'm going to get a PS4. I'm a bum with a 360 still, and have been going back and forth b/w the One and PS4. The Last of Us and the new Final Fantasy VII remake are what sold me on the PS4. Very excited to get back into some gaming.

Just picked up a MW3 bundle PS4, merry christmas to me. LOL.
So far I've only played like 5 hrs online, still a newb. Haven't played COD online since about 2010 so I've been getting owned, still having fun though.
Just started looking into other games a bit, any recommendations on a good racer (dirt is fun too, any decent Rally or MX games?)?

Eh... as far as racing games go on PS4 not really. F1 2015 is good if you like F1. Project Cars is not a bad simulator IMO. Other than that nope.

I love rally racing, so I picked up WRC 5 but haven't played it much. It got decent but not stellar reviews. Reminds me of the original WRC games and the early Dirt games before they added too much gymkana stuff.

Cool, might see about picking that up. I bought the original DiRT for my PS3 (it was a launch or near launch game IIRC) and then the second DiRT when that came out a couple years later. Enjoyed the first one more than the second, maybe just because the physics between them were different and I didnt play as much at that time

The last of us is amazing, right now I'm buried in Dragon Age Inquisition which is equally if not more amazing.

No, a couple buddies at work are. I'll pick it up soon, just a little concerned about how open world it is. I'm a long time PC/MMO game and I struggle to keep into the games like Fallout on a console. I decided to try DAI and was blown away so I'll get Fallout soon. I think the story and "companions" in DAI are what make it so interesting.

Thread seems to have died off lately, ha.

Debating about picking up dark souls 3 since it got released today. Loved bloodborne so I should enjoy this just as much I figure

Yeah.... I've thought the same myself. I love the dark souls series.

Destiny and The Division both released patches today with new stuff to do so I'll probably play around with those for a while. Won't take me long to burn though the content in Destiny but The Division patch notes look promising.

I wouldn't mind giving destiny another chance now but in reality I just don't play like I used to and that's a game where you have to play. Same with the division but I haven't played it at all.

I'm enjoying games more that I can walk away from for a week at a time or however long and pick up exactly where I was without being so far behind. I want DS3but still need to play through fallout 4 dlc and finish the last of us (having a hard time getting into that game)
