    All good. I just want to know which, if either, new console I'll throw some money at.

    The sad thing is the only console I play frequently right now is my Switch. Right at EOL (end of life) the high end consoles get pretty stale, especially compared to PCs.

    I'll be buying the PS5. But I don't think you can go wrong with either of them. Kind of the same dilemma I ran into when I started this thread and had bought a PS4 and a Xbox One to compare them. Neither really outshines the other. The differences between the consoles themselves will be negligible at best. Basically what it will boil down to (much like when the PS4 and Xbox One came out) is which one your friends will be buying. There really aren't that many first party titles anymore. Sure a few come around but most titles are released on both consoles. So that isn't a console seller. But you're right... I wouldn't buy a PS4 or a Xbox One right now at the end of their life cycle.

    Ok so I didn’t realize exactly where I was but I played a few hours tonight.

    up to 18h 5m of gameplay according to my save and I’m on Seattle day 2.

    tonight might’ve been the most stressful 2 hours for me getting to the aquarium...
