PS4 / Xbox One... Reviews in Progress

The disc drive already stopped working on my xbox. When I took it to the FedEx store he said he has been sending back a lot of them. I'm really disappointed in Microsoft once again after I had to send in my 360 a bunch of times too now this one

I guess it's their way of getting you to download your games.

So my review...ps4 is better than xbox one.

 

Haha... I've said that from day one but I still think the Xbox has potential. That said I hate to hear of the drive problems already? I went through at least three 360's and 3 Xbox originals because of drives.

 

Microsoft has gotten sloppy and lazy. They have the power and capital to make the best software and hardware in the biz but choose not to. So frustrating. I'll be buying a PS4 when not only the price goes down, but when the next gen comes out and all the problems are resolved.

 

Potential for what? Actually working?
I've bought one ps3...used it for 6 years without a problem.
All I know is I'm glad I bought this pile from Costco... "reason for return, sir? "... "It's a pile of crap".

I'm still holding out for Halo. And I'm in Colorado right now so I'm kind of itching to play Titanfall for a day or so lol

 

You're not missing anything.... literally.
I've had my ps4 since day one and haven't had a single issue.
Too bad Respawn sold out to the highest bidder instead of sharing with the entire gaming community.

 

Oh yeah, I've had mine since the first weekend and I agree that the PS4 is better (sales figures prove that). Respawn didn't sell out it's just like the PS4 will have some console exclusives. Much like Mass Effect was a 360 / PC exclusive then came to PS3. There will be console exclusives that will stay. I would imagine Naughty Dog games will stay with Sony and 343 will stay with Halo for Microsoft. There will be some games that I find for the Xbox One that will make me keep it and I'm happy I have it. I'm also happy I've got a PS4 and have the games I want Pre Ordered for the PS4. (IE: Destiny)

 

Im so over xbox (and ps4) right now that I havent even plugged my xbox in since last week sometime.. titanfall justdoesnt do it for me.. I need watch dogs and Destiny.

 

Titan Fall has been lagging a lot lately..

 

I'm ready for Watchdogs myself.

 

I'm currently debating between infamous and watchdogs. Any preference and as to why? Looks like both are free world games

Edit: decided to buy infamous. watchdogs is a couple months away pretty much. So I may get watchdogs when it releases. I needed a new game. Killzone got boring and really wasnt enough gameplay for me.

 

I didn't really care much for the first Infamous so I'll probably skip on that. I've been enjoying the hell out of ESO though. I bought Reaper of Souls for Diablo III but I can't tear myself away from ESO at the moment. We've got a good guild up and running so that makes it a lot of fun. Add to that the game is just plain fun and actually takes SKILL to play unlike WOW.

 

I'm enjoying infamous so far. It's a lot different type of gameplay with the set of skills than I'm used to. I wouldn't mind picking up reaper of souls but I haven't played d3 in over a year. Have yet to play eso (even though I had all the beta invites). I just don't play enough in a month that I can justify $15 every month. But I still want to try it out.

 

Yeah I understand. I had not played Diablo 3 in well over a year but tried it out again after Loot 2.0 came out and they did away with the AH. It is much better now. I just can't quit ESO right now. I understand the $15 per month if you can't play all that often. I can devote a lot of time to it so it is worth it to me. It really is a lot of fun and if you liked Skyrim or just the Elder Scrolls you will love this. I like how the put a emphasis on not burning through the content.

 

Sounds like a game I'd love. I loved morrowind, oblivion was ok, sky rim was awesome too. Definitely have enjoyed that series a lot.

 

The more I learn about this game the more I love it. I'm only level 11 (leveling is different in this game) but the crafting is great. You aren't limited to just 2 profession's. You can max out as many as you want. I'm working on provisioning at the moment since the buffs the food provides is a great asset at low levels. But so far the crafting is the best I've seen in a MMO.
