    I love the XP Seven's. Unfortunately they are not $200 anymore. I guess I hit it just right and got them for a discounted price. They are still worth the $268 especially for the PS4 since they are plug and play out of the box and the surround sound processing is infinite.

    It really depends on if you want wireless or not. These are wired but come with every option available. The wireless sound good also but they lack a few features that these have built in. Since I play in my office I personally have no need for wireless so I would rather have the best set up.

    Well I decided to quit looking for an xbox one until after the new year. I've also decided that since the xbox will have blue ray I'll need to find myself a new surround sound receiver.

    Apparently.... The added cost, not native 1080p, you have to have the kinect (which in reality has no "real" useful function), no quality headset will work with it, no Dolby 5.1 /7.1 optical surround sound output (out of the box), and at this point in time only Forza stands out between the 2 systems... Yeah, I understand why they aren't selling well.


    And the differences are in the visuals

    X1 seemes to be more defined in areas but overall brightness is lower. Now if EA could get an actual patch out on BF4 to stop game crashing I would play more. Not gonna pick up an X1 till a price drop happens...

    Yeah... I agree BF4 has been a fuck story from the beginning on both systems. I wouldn't look for a price drop for a few years on either system.

    You dont need the Kinect it just comes with it..

    The added cost is the kinect..

    All wireless headsets work with it

    Its the beginning of the new gen consoles.. what stands out on PS4 right now? Other than maybe killzone.. and even then its still 1-1.

    I know you're trying to be unbiased but its not working:rolleyes:

    I have no say in anything PS4 because I dont have one and the only reason I would buy one is for last of us 2 if they come out with it.

    Other than that, Titanfall all the way

    You just made my point. They could have left it off and dropped the price by at least $50

    I should have been more specific. All the high end headsets with chat functionality do not work with it. You still have to chat through the Kinect which is stupid IMO. Add to the fact that NO quality surround sound headset can take advantage of Dolby 5.1 "right now" your argument is moot.

    This "is" my unbiased opinion. I have both systems and clearly at this moment the PS4 is the better console. Time will tell which will be better in a year or so.

    Which I hope they never do.

    Agreed... Can not wait for that game!
