Matt, yes that spacer extends the brake lines till I can get the actual extended lines on. Even then I will keep the spacer in place though

Ah gotcha gotcha...make sure to bend the stock clips like the below picture on the left (kind of hard to see) so they can be put back on and secure the lines.

Are you getting a free bumper and doing a write up on it?

How the hell do you get on that list?! You and Eric are spoiled...

If I had won the winch it would have been a pretty expensive affair. I would have to buy a bumper, which means I would have had to redo my front suspension, which means I'd probably just go the full three inches on suspension and get some UCA's, and then I'd have to redo the back suspension, and then I'd need 33" tires, which would mean I'd need a cab mount chop.

    Damn... I'm glad I didn't win anything!

Not spoiled. It's hard work. Oh and you don't need the chop for 33's if you align it right. A little less expense. :D

no no no, im doing a write up for pelfreybilt on the gas tank skid and i also redesigned the logo for the company a bit ago:cool: nothing came free

im strongly considering going 295/70/17's as my next choice for tires, after seeing insaine fab's build and doug's SWB build running them no problem its the direction im headed!! or 285/75/17's but they both are only available in a couple options.

Would you really be able to clear those on 2.5" of lift? I'd love to take a look at how yours clear and consider it for mine (though I'm only on 2" of lift).

Phil might need a cab mount chop and there will definitely need to be some plastic trimming especially up front. Unless he finally gets a front bumper.

I haven't looked Phil but are those guys running aftermarket UCA's? I am thinking they kicked the wheel forward a bit with those to help the clearance issue.

they both might have been running aftermarket UCA's i didnt really take notice though. Ill definitely need a cab mount chop which i want to do anyways. I dont mind trimming up plastic at all

thinking either nitto trail grapplers, cooper discover stt, or toyo open country's. Although the nitto's are the only ones available in 285/75/17 which will save me some on the width but gain me more height

I kind of agree with Noah. Step up to the 295 and a true 33.
