I'm hoping they will eliminate the noise but probably not my UCA's, these are in prep to mount and balance the 295's and finally get a good alignment. Brian had wanted me to get UCA's after my last alignment so I knew I wasn't stepping up in tire size without that upgrade. :D

Bob, I'm so excited for next weekend you have no idea!! Finally the 31's will be gone!!

Gramps, i climbed under the front of the truck today and those bolts that are going through the frame to the pelfreybilt bumper were tight but i was able to torque them down a bit more, the 2 back bolts on those support braces were also tight but was able to get almost a full turn on each. Im thinking that is what is making my noise but ill still have brian look at the LCA's next weekend.

I also cut those handles off your old toolbox, got sick of hearing them rattle when pulling in and out of my drive way :D

See I might be slow but eventually I get an and realize what it is. Yeah I just cut some rubber breather hose and put it over the handle and they never made noise. I thought the rubber was still on there?

Finally some rub marks that lead me to believe this is the noise!! BAMF LCA skid rubbing on the front cam bolts on both sides!! I'll bet I have no noise now, removed them to hopefully lube my cam bolts next weekend.

Shakes head at Eric... Hahaha! Glad you found the problem. If you hole saw that section of the skid would it weaken the design? Or even get a good size punch and bend that section out maybe.... Anyways good find and good luck bud.

Was that what you were talking about, I thought you were saying a different location up front?

    And I hate you!! :D

I'm gonna take the grinding wheel to that section and go to town, if that doesn't clearance it enough I'll take a BFH to it

You're right, I didn't call exactly that spot but I did call LCA skids. Mine have bent up the mount for the bolt there. They may be doing the same things as yours but I haven't taken them off yet.

That stuff should be called 90% FAB or something.

Every single piece I've come in contact with (sliders and LCA skids) needed modification before you could actually run it.

I need to pull mine off and see if I can modify them or maybe how far I can throw them.
