Love the build! Did you adjust your light racing UCAs to help with tire clearance and 295s?

yes, pushed them one notch forward to get more clearance where the cab mount chop is, I've now wheeled it enough and stuffed tires hard enough that i don't think ill have any rubbing problems with the trimming I've currently done.

    Cab Mount Chop
Trim inside plastic fender next to the cab mount chop (basically took all plastic off where the bend of the fender comes into the wheel well)
Rear plastic fender inside trimmed (took bottom two bolts of fender out and trimmed all plastic inside on the lower fender in front of the wheel)
Still have mud flaps in the rear
NO mud flaps in the front

if i really slam the front end down hard then i rub the under side of the fender on the top of the tire but i try not to do that very often, don't want to bend a spindle :D

Awesome thanks! Yeah I'm loving the 295 size! Looks perfect on our trucks. I've done the CMC but still need that extra bit to clear it completely. What did you tell the alignment shop to do? (I also have LR UCA)

@thefatkid would be able to tell you exactly what to let them know. I wanna say we just pushed the position of the UCA one notch forward, here is a photo of how mine sit right now

    90fc4e3baeb72a2f633b982730af166c_2106c36c26f5df79f19ce84bd2e310641e2cba01.jpg

We tried for two notches forward on the drivers side but it ended up making me rub at full lock on the CMC so we moved it back to this position and all is good

Thanks again! This should be a huge help! @thefatkid if you could chime in with info on what exactly I should tell the alignment guy!

The best way to explain it. Set the caster as high as possible with the arm adjustments. Adjust out the excessive caster and set camber with the light racing control arm. Final fine tuning alignment with a little of both the lower arm adjustments (caster) and the upper arm adjustment (camber).

Need more pics of tires. I'm trying to decide if I want to go with 295's until next tax time cause I'm going to upgrade to 35's then.

People keep asking about what trimming I've done to fit 295's and it's honestly not much trimming of the inner fender plastic and the CMC up front. That in conjunction with the way I have my SPC UCA's setup make the rubbing minimal.

I have a conundrum. I am stepping up to 285's and cranking my coilovers up and im looking for UCAs. My first instinct are the LR UCA's as people swear on them but i eventually want to go mid travel and that has me looking at Uniball UCA's which are easily 300$ more.

I Just do trail riding and camping(nothing high speed) and dont plan on doing anything high speed so im thinking the LR's will be the best fit or am i just going crazy?

How have your LR's treated you?
