My SPC LR UCA's have been great, I've had them on the truck for prob 8-10 months and love the extra adjustability. I didn't see the need to spend the extra $$$ on uniball.

You will need to keep applying grease since they are at the very front of the truck and subject to our wonderful de-icer in the winter. Let me know when you get them and if you need a hand. I am curious to see how this goes.

So polyurethane against painted sheet metal squeaks?

Is it more prone to squeaking than rubber?

    Sincere question...

no experience. Is polyurethane the same stuff they make leaf spring bushings out of? I thought the squeaks from leaf springs was supposed to be between the leafs, is it from the bushings?

What about aftermarket control arm bushings?

and how do they "dry out"? it's just a synthetic compound right?

Honestly given the fact that this is going on the radiator mounts the squeaks should be minimal and possibly only occur during frame flex. But it appears that with some formula 5 it should never happen.

SPC provides something similar when you install there UCA'S the first time. Mine have never squeaked because of what they supplied.

I have some extra of the SPC lube I think, I was going to smear a little between the washer and bushing and install.
