What other maintenance do they need? I'm getting a used one, but I think he said he still has the manual. Just wondering what all else they need

just keeping up on the polishing of the windows so they don't get hazy. I use Endust for electronics on them between storms, with a soft blue paper towel as to not scratch them further, then once a year ill buff them with flitz and the buff ball. I also try and protect the canvas with the bestop spray every wash so it doesn't fade.

Ah, good to know. Thanks! I'll have to get myself a bottle.

Any quick, off the top of your head, inexpensive mods that you found useful? Especially that don't take much know how? Now that I started I'm getting hooked. Gotta do something!

i saw you need to do the diff breather mod, thats probably the easiest!! i put my breather up in the cubby in the bedside. Some people put it into the gas cap area but i didn't want to drill close to that area :D

it will cost all of about 20 bucks and give you good piece of mind while out on the trails.

if you are running your stock bumper i would go to ace hardware and buy a piece of metal to flip up your trailer 7 pin. that will be the first thing you break off if you don't do this mod. within the first 2 pages or so of my build thread you can see what i did with mine, that was A LONG TIME AGO when i still had a stock bumper

    here ya go

flipped up my 7 Pin, used a L bracket with holes pre drilled in them from ACE Hardware. Cost all of about .30 Cents

Sweet thanks! I wondered the reason behind flipping the 7 pin. Good to know.

front bolts on the leaf pack were a bit rusted, glad we got everything loose and were able to install the dakar pack without big problems. Thanks to my pops and @Gramps

This thing is freaking sweet!! Gzila designs did the etching, this is a one of a kind with my logo design. 30oz RTIC tumbler, testing it out now with some ice water. It will also make for a great beer mug!
