PSA: Make sure you've indexed your LED replacement lights.

If you're like me and you bought replacement LED "bulbs" for your headlights. Make sure you've properly indexed (adjusted the rotation) of your newly installed lights for optimum light output(very important for reflector housings.) If you read your installation instructions that come with the headlights (who does that? It's just a simple bulb swap after all...) you may have already seen these notes and indexed your new lights.
After installing my Diode Dynamics SL1 high and low beam's I noticed the cooling system/housing/wiring of the bulb did not point straight downward like they did for my low beams. This is not correct.

For Diode Dynamic's SL1 headlights in particular the indexing process is very simple. On my 2019 OR with projector low beams and reflector housing high beams I only needed to adjust the high beam indexing ring. For the driver's side it was necessary to adjust the "inner collar" mentioned in the instructions below clockwise 1 space, and adjust the collar counter clockwise 1 space for the passenger side.



TLDR: make sure your LED diodes are pointing to the sides, not up and down, on your shiny, new, replacement LED headlights by following the adjustment process above.
