Hopefully it all dies down before I need to venture out this afternoon! I have to drive past a small one to get to my destination.

Isn’t Buc-ees massive? Dozens and dozens of fuel pumps and bathroom stalls, very large store?

Sheetz is much smaller. 15ish fuel pumps, nothing more than a convenience store inside + food made to order and a smaller seating area.

This is a genius move on Sheetz part. One which I shall avoid. Don’t need to fight with people to save a few bucks on fuel.

100+ pumps is the norm. They are the largest convenience stores (70k sq. ft) in the country. They are all about getting you inside to buy a $3 Coke. The have one near me and it is a mandatory tourist destination for many.

The places look very busy day or night since there are vehicles in front of every pump, but most people buy fuel and leave their vehicle at the pump for 15-30 min while they shop inside. Must be a Texas thing?

    Yeah that’s different from Sheetz.

Buc-ees is a novelty like In N Out.

Sheetz and Wawa are convenience stores that have great food. Not a tourist trap.

Not bad if you beat the rush. Savings is only about 1/2 off a gallon.

Now I'm wishing that I could get gas with my undersized, overrated cheeseburger.

True. Not worth it in my case as nearest Sheetz is 30 mins or so + a toll.
Finally, someone backs me on the “In N Out” is overrated argument!

    I feel vindicated.

They are overrated, but I missed the overrated burger ever since I relocated from the Bay Area many years ago. They finally built an In N Out near me a year ago and I can now satisfy my cravings.

It’s not Friday. How did we go from Sheetz to Buc-ees to In N Out?

Oh there will be some mods all right
The discount is awesome, but even if I had one of those gas stations near me there is no way in hell I would wait in line that long just to save on gas. Not even if it was free.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
People are so fucking nuts! I am gonna save on one tank of gas and ruin my entire day. Sad really.

We need a poll added to this post. Sheetz. Buc-ees or In N Out food? Also, a holiday is like a Friday!
