    mine were like this back in 2009 but a lot worse, all we did was grind the cracks and added some fat welds. Haven't had a problem since. I'll post pics in a bit when I find them.

    nothing wrong with that! I carry a inner stub for trail fix purposes in case of broken CV.

    @Whitecloud you should probably check your transmission cross member for cracks since you would have the original style that was not fully welded and boxed. Mine was stupid with the cracks all the way around at both ends. The newer revised cross member has full welds and much improved.

    I'll have to look. Mine's an '06 and looks like I'm a bit behind on that. Looks like I might have some work to do.
