You beefed yours up a little more than some of the others I've seen. Gives me a couple different ideas, thanks for the photos of your work.

I cut the factory bolts off on the outside. They are tack welded on the back. Welded a 5/8 plate to the back of the factory mounts and frame then added a third hole on the outside. Then used 7/16 grade 8 bolts.

I don't have pics. It's still a work in progress. I have to take the bumper off one more time to bed line it. And finish welding the mounts

This thread gives me anxiety... Guess when I'm back home from my business trip I have some beefing up to do... First thing would be to check the LCA mounts.. I bomb pretty hard on the back roads with the new suspension setup...

As the years pass, I'm becoming more afraid of what I'll find when I look under my truck.

If I were to bring my truck in for the frame replacement inspection, would having these cracks help my case?

Probably not, unless you abuse your truck you likely don't even have these cracks.

I do on occasion. Although I think the rust will kill my frame before any cracks do.

Add this to the list of things you need to modify to make Tacomas reliable. These trucks arent made for doing any hardwork or offroading.
