Has anyone experienced an issue with hitting puddles and what seems like all of the water getting sent right into my windshield and not away from the truck? I've never had this happen in any other vehicle I've had and it is a little dangerous.

You must just need to lift it so the water can’t reach that high?

Haha just kidding. Seriously though, I live in Washington and have not encountered this problem. I even have my tires sticking out a little.

I do have a 2.5in suspension lift on it but I cant imagine it making that huge of a difference.

It's only happened to me when I was going too fast for the conditions. The truck can't displace water left and right like a boat hull. The water gets thrown up in the air in front of the truck and then, if you're going fast enough, you just go through it and it's on the windshield blinding you

Yep, it happens to me when going a bit too fast and water has no time to fall below hood level, so it ends up all over windshield instead...

Definitely a puker factor when visibility is low...

In other words, slow down when about to hit puddles...

Pretty much everytime I approach a puddle, I get ready to hit the wipers on full speed and make sure I know what's in front of me.

This full splash tube coming full force at the windshield has occurred with every Toyota truck or 4runner in every Gen since 85 Gen to current I've had.

It happens with *every* car. Could be worse at different speeds though.

Like others have said hitting them too fast will push it in front and up.

Normal.... it’s a feature on our trucks that remind you to slow the f*** down if puddles are deep enough to splash water that high

Happens to me in puddles that aren't very deep, too, even at 35mph. Wipers are already on to clear it out, nbd.

It happens to mee every time I hit a puddle of water and is really annoying, is there a fix or something to make it stop? I don’t even have to hit the puddle too fast.
