Pull trigger on $390 TRD Exhaust???

I'm too late now since you already bought it...but I was going to say that if you ever plan on doing long tube headers or catless y-pipe, the TRD exhaust will be very raspy/ricey. Anyways, I hope it works out for you. I had planned on doing the TRD cat back as well because I liked that it wasn't too loud, but I ended up going magnaflow with 3 inch tubing and doug thorley long tube headers, and am very pleased with the results. Many people say that it sounds more like a v8 than a v6.

 

How much did that Magnaflow run you, I considered doing that very set up

 

I feel like it's a sin to ask this but is the TRD catback exhaust much louder than the stock exhaust? Does anyone recommend any other brand for an exhaust upgrade? I'm getting S/C installed week after next and want to go ahead and have the dealership upgrade the exhaust while it's on the rack. I obviously want more performance but I don't want anything too loud. I like quiet.

Not too much more than the TRD setup, but much more for your money. Being all SS, the thing should be pretty bullet proof.
