Pulled the trigger on a new Taco

Upgraded from 2nd gen to the now so called Turd gen. Loving it so far but I have a couple questions. I’m fixing to start my upgrades so does anyone know if the tonneau covers and step bars will fit from a second gen to the third gen. The bed and bars look the same but would like to be sure before I order anything

Nice new truck! I'm not really sure on the tonneau cover or the step's. I know the tailgate is different on the third gens so a tonneau cover may not seal correctly. Other than that I think the beds are pretty much the same.

Steps should fit, tonneau probably won't (rails are at a different height from the top of the bed, I believe). It may depend upon the brand of tonneau, but it seems that most do not fit.

Nice. I often wish I had gone with an A/C Sr5 over my TRD OR DCSB. I really don't need all these bells and whistles, just a reliable truck. Congrats and great color choice!
