Man next time plant 2 trees so you get both left and right shoes. So which is cheaper fixing your truck or fixing your back?

Pour a half gallon of diesel a day on it for a week. Day 8 giv it a half gallon of gas and light it. 3 days later when it stops burning it'll be gone. :bananadead:

Tie off to the truck (hitch)with a tight line, start digging on the opposite side. As the roots come up retighten the line. Go slowly and it will get it out without bouncing up and out of the ground towards your truck.

Let say said stump is in the middle of a lawn. Would this kill everything around it?

I yanked a stump out with my Taco already. I have a 4 way universal hitch (3 balls and a hook) and I just put a chain on the hook. I drilled the chain into 2-3 spots low on the stump with 4" lag bolts and the biggest washers I had. I hacked up the roots with an ax as best I could and just went slow and steady with someone paying attention to the stump. I've seen enough youtube stump fail videos to know better than to try and just rip that shit out.
