I have to pull the front passenger seat out of my SR so I can have the upholstery cleaned (my dog puked between console and seat). I was curious if I needed to disconnect the battery before I pulled the seat. I couldn't find anything definitive when I searched. They are not power seats but do have an airbag. Any help is much appreciated.

Next time disconnect the dog :).

I don't know if you need too, but it would be much safer to disconnect the battery. Doesn't take long and it's a good precaution to avoid setting it off.

Thanks! That's what I assumed I needed to do but if I could get away leaving it connected I was going to.
