Hey guys! Just lifted my truck and I'm having an issue with it pulling to the right.
    What I installed:
Bilstien 5100 shocks front and rear
    OME 887 coils
Spacer on driver side for Taco lean
    LR upper control arms

I road for a little while with my stock tires while I was waiting for new tires to come in and never felt any kind of a pull in the steering. It could have been pulling slightly but not enough for me to notice. Both before and after getting my new tires/wheels put on I noticed my caster (I think?) was kind of off looking. Looking at the front of the truck my tires looked like this \ / (not that bad of course). I went and got an alignment and after the alignment my truck started pulling somewhat decent to the right; maybe more now then before the alignment.

The mechanic says its all in spec and that the tires will wear evenly and that was his main concern. I can live with the slight pull if it's not going to affect my tires/truck negatively, but I would like to get it sorted out if possible. Any ideas or help would be great!

Side note - the mechanic rotated the tires and the truck still had the same pull to the right.

In spec is a wide range. It can be in spec, but be totally out of whack. Post up the actual numbers and we'll see what's really going on. I'll bet your it's your toe.

It's your camber. If you look at the top ones, while they are "green", you can see both tires would be pointed to the left, making you pull right.

Looks like your guy put the effort in, and your numbers are pretty good. Nothing obvious to me that would make it pull right. Is it bad, or fairly subtle? Mine pulls just enough that I have to keep pressure on it with my left hand while driving.

Maybe someone else will chime in with ideas.

So was the mechanic lying to me when he said this wouldn't wear down my tires faster? I went back earlier today for them to look at it and they couldn't get it any better I guess. It seemed like they were trying to point blame towards some part of the lift. I know the UCA's have something on them to adjust the caster, but I just set it to the recommended setting for 2-3 inches of lift.

I guess it's kind of similar to yours. Like I said before, I can live with it, but i'd rather not have to haha.

Any pull will add wear. Less pull = less wear. If it's slight, you won't notice the uneven wear as long as you rotate around 5K miles.

They can do better; bring camber down and caster up. Especially with aftermarket UCAs.

I would try to get them to bring the left tire closer to 0.0, and the right can be left where it's at. Mine is .9 left and .8 right and I pull to the right myself. Also, ask them to adjust your caster up 1 degree. You can do that yourself if you want with the LR UCA instructions.

So should I go back to get it looked at again or is this ok? I will be rotating the tires every 5000 miles with my oil change. I hate to have to take it back a third time but if its necessary than I will

Might try repositioning the tires, swap sides or front to rear, might have a tire with a bad belt, just cuz they're new doesn't mean it can't happen.

Wife's Camry did this last summer, drove it 2200 miles on vacation pulling to the left, turns out it had a broken belt in a reasonably new tire.

Finding an "Alignment guy" who is actually willing to do an alignment is pretty tough. Most I've seen just " go for the green" and push print.

Fawk that, do the job you're being paid to do ! ..

Used to work at a Chevy dealer, had a Honda Accord wagon, Wife's DD, it ate the inside of all the tires, bought new rubber, had the alignment guy put it on the rack, " There's no adjustment" he said. I left that dealer not long after and went to work at a Monro shop, got to throw it up on the rack and do my own alignment, There is a CRAP TON of adjustment on the Accord, front and rear, only thing I screwed up was I didn't have the wheel centered when I started, so it was just slightly off when I was done. But it drove WAY better, and tires lasted a LOT longer.

Same with my current '97 Runner, no access to rack for me to do my own, but am friends with shop owner who will let me observe, and knows I know what I'm looking at on his screen.

The mechanic tried this and had no luck.
And I totally agree with the doing what you're paid to do comment! I normally don't go to the shop that I went to because of that thought, but they were the first person who could get me in on short notice and I was in a hurry.

I guess there is that chance, I haven't noticed any smell of hot brakes and I'm guessing the mechanic didn't either because they didn't mention anything about it. I'll keep an eye on it though.

I'm tempted to get another alignment from a different shop but I don't really feel like spending the extra cash..

I had the same issue after tires and rims. We kept playing with the number and then realized my steering wheel was off and adjusted that. Golden ever since.

Agreed. That's a sad job of properly aligning a vehicle that has every adjustment possible. Tell them to bring camber and toe closet to 0 and caster to 3.

I'll look into that link @Trent_G

I did notice that my steering wheel was off a little bit when I lifted it and before I put my new wheels on. Should I look into this too?

I just went through this same thing. I had to end up taking it to another place. Make sure the alignment guy know what he is doing.

Well the guy at the shop told me that the mechanic doing my alignment has been doing alignments for years now and that "he knows what he's doing". I don't know how much of that is true.. but I'm looking at maybe changing the caster setting on my control arms to see if that does anything for me.

If not then I'll have to maybe bite the bullet and get another alignment from someone else who I trust a little more.
