Any one have the issue of their truck pulling to the right after installing a 2 OME lift?
This is on a 2017 Tacoma TRD pro I replaced front and rear with Old Man Emu BP-51 2 Inch Suspension Lift Kit w/ UCA for 2005-2022 Toyota Tacoma. I have hade it aligned twice both Shop says it’s within spec. But when you are driven it will pull to the right to the point that on the HWY to Chang lanes all you have to do is let go of the steering wheel. No vibration. Any ideas?

What tires are you running? Did they change with the lift? Some mud terrains have natural pulls

I pulled the front tires off two day don’t see anything loose. Turned both huds by hand the passenger side seems to have a spot that is harder to turn but I don’t get any vibrations or shaking well driving

You need to find a tech that actually understands the numbers and what creates them. The alignment numbers (caster is way out) is even worse on the second attempt on the 29th. Go back to both and request your money back. The first one will obviously pull right pretty bad the second is downright dangerous. It has to do with the difference between Left and Right side. The 4.6 degrees caster on the left would be good if both sides were 4.6. Get that Left side back down to what the right side is and you will be way better off. I would also want to see Camber 0 to -.5 If an alignment tech does not ask you how and where you drive is somewhat a red flag. Most won't but if they do you probably have found a good one.

Check with frame and alignment shops NOT tire stores.

I would ask to talk to the tech and show him/her you print outs and see what they say. I would do that regardless of where you end up. At minimum both sides should be in spec and the same side to side especially caster unless they are setting it for roads that have a lot of crown to them. Order of importance is #1 is caster, #2 is camber, #3 toe. They are all important but caster will be the most noticeable right away. An old rule of testing was on a flat road the car/truck should hold a straight line with a straight/level steering wheel at minimum the distance from one power pull to the next with no hands on the steering wheel.

Maybe. All depends on the tech, who it's unlikely you'll get to speak too.

Same with most big box shops, they want to toe and go.

Find a shop that does alignments for things like trucks, jeeps or even sports cars or autox cars. While there is nothing magical about the Tacoma alignment methods, it's important that the shop keeps their equipment calibrated and that the tech doing the work understands what's happening, not just looking for a green light on the machine.

And yes, I'd go to both places and ask for a refund. They are pretty clueless.

One more thing. When you ask for a refund they will want to redo it and will have all kinds of excuses. Are machine was out, I will put are best guy on it. Tell them they had their chance. If they still fight you just let them know you will contact corporate (if they have one) as well as the BBB and do a YELP review. They did not even get things in the green. But even if all numbers are in the green does not mean all is good. As you see there is a broad range for both Caster and Camber. Most shops believe the consumer has no clue what the numbers mean.
